Oregon State Police and the Lincoln County Medical Examiner are attempting to positively identify a body found Thursday morning in the surf on the south end of Yachats State Park. A California man was arrested Thursday for assault and reckless endangering in connection with what police believe to be the unintentional shooting of his cousin, a 13-year-old Madras girl.
