Netflix, the world's largest online movie rental service, today said it has delivered the one billionth DVD since the company's subscription service was launched in September 1999. A 34-year Oregon State Police (OSP) veteran thought he had seen it all until he saw an amphibian-style airplane in his rearview mirror after it made an emergency landing Sunday morning on Interstate 84 about 15 miles east of Baker City. Five California residents were injured, two seriously, in a crash involving two sport utility vehicles near Interstate-5 in Grants Pass on Saturday afternoon. A Lincoln County dog-owner was cited Thursday for allegedly allowing her two large dogs to chase and kill a cow elk.
