Lynda Carter is savoring the latest chapter in her career with the kind of appreciation that can only come after experiencing years of life's ups — and downs. With singing engagements coming up at New York's Lincoln Center, Washington's Kennedy Center and elsewhere, the performer still remembered as Wonder Woman is looking radiant. "I'm really taking care of myself, just doing the best I can to stay healthy. I lost a little bit of weight," ... [full story]

SEATTLE - The University of Washington has terminated its licensing agreement with clothing manufacturer The Russell Corp., school officials say. The move to pull the school's logos and icons from the clothier came after reports that Russell, owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. "Universities have adopted manufacturer codes of conduct ... [full story]

What are your money beliefs? The way you behave with money proves what you believe about it. Behaviors are symptoms of values, and when it comes to personal finances and money management, a wishy-washy belief system results in a messed-up financial life. People without strong financial belief systems end up being controlled by their money. Because they cannot trust their own ability to make sound decisions, they let anyone who comes along with a slick ... [full story]

It didn't appear to be the wisest time to be taking a five-day ski vacation to Snowmass, Colo., even with a free and gorgeous place to stay. So much work to do. Bills to pay. Economic collapse to obsess over. And yet, it was the only time I had, so I grabbed it. Maybe I'll write a column about the importance of work-play balance, I told myself on the breathtaking ride through the Rockies. Write ... [full story]

"I've bitten her on the neck and stared her straight in the eyes." "I use a pronged training collar, which makes a world of difference." "When she goes after my hand, I push it farther into her mouth." "What can I do? I have ... [full story]
