RIVERHEAD, N.Y.-- Members of the Bethesda Wesleyan Church in Greenlawn, N.Y., say they want an Evangelical Christian denomination to reopen their religious facility. WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- A group of Canadian Indian chiefs in northern Manitoba is asking for help at all levels to stem the flow of alcohol and drugs onto dry reservations. BANDA ACEH, Indonesia -- Authorities in Indonesia say the chairman of the Aceh Sabululssalam Party escaped injury Monday when a grenade tossed at his house failed to fully detonate. JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister-designate Binyamin Netanyahu has selected three Likud Party members of the Knesset for his Cabinet, officials said Monday. Michael Eitan and Yossi Peled were named ministers without portfolios while Moshe Kahlon was named sole minister for communications, The Jerusalem Post reported. PHNOM PENH, Cambodia -- Trials of Khmer Rouge officials began Monday in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 30 years after the end of the vicious communist reign that left 1.7 million people dead.
