A proposal to place a six-month moratorium on home foreclosures resulting from subprime home mortgage loans has been made by several consumer and housing related groups. "Nobody wins when a home goes into foreclosure," said John Robbins, chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association. For women, a diet consisting of a regular course of red meat appears to come with a side order of breast cancer, says the American Institute for Cancer Research. WASHINGTON - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said pet food protein imported from China could have had the toxin melamine deliberately added to boost protein levels. Dr. Stephen Sundlof, FDA chief veterinarian, told reporters melamine had been found in Chinese shipments of corn, wheat and rice gluten.
