Two Redmond residents were killed Saturday afternoon when their all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) failed to round a curve and went head-first over an embankment into an empty canal on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property east of Redmond, deputies reported. Debbie Schubert, 45, and Donnie Moody, 31, were pronounced dead at the scene by Redmond Fire and Rescue paramedics, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Sgt. ATLANTA - Three people were shot this weekend after an attempted robbery of a jewelry store in an Atlanta mall erupted in gunfire.The three were not identified, but one was described as a security guard.The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said at least four men attempted to rob Glitz Jewelers in the Greenbriar Mall Saturday. A 40-year old Hillsboro man was arrested Saturday when he drove twenty miles with two children in the trunk of his car, deputies reported.
