Bankrate, Inc. released a new poll this week which found that nearly one out of five individuals plan to work until death. An asphalt overlay project on Cline Falls Highway from Tumalo Road north to Highway 126 will limit traffic to one lane and may cause delays lasting 20 minutes, the Deschutes County Road Department announced. Construction crews will begin work on Monday, April 30, with project completion expected on June 1, said George Kolb. Attorney General Hardy Myers this week announced the conviction of Don Andrew Nguyen, a former Portland area convenience store retailer, for violations of the state’s tobacco tax laws. Don Nguyen, the former owner and operator of Junior’s II Grocery, plead guilty last week to four separate felony counts of unlawful distribution of tobacco products in Marion County Circuit Court.
