LONDON -- A jury Tuesday cleared three men accused of helping plan the deadly 2005 London suicide attacks by conducting a reconnaissance mission. The Kingston Crown Court jury found Waheed Ali, 25; Sadeer Saleem, 28; and Mohammed Shakil, 32, innocent of conspiring with the bombers by setting up a trip to scout possible targets, the BBC reported. WASHINGTON -- U.S. House and Senate Democrats forged a budget deal that gives President Obama a shot at healthcare reform but trims his spending and tax cut proposals. SOFIA, Bulgaria -- Bulgarian police arrested 18 people across the country in what they said was the largest operation ever to round up suspected Internet pedophiles. EDINBURGH, Scotland -- A court in Edinburgh Tuesday began hearing the appeal of the man convicted in the 1988 bombing of a Pan Am jet over Lockerbie, Scotland, court officials said. PRINCETON, N.J. -- Slightly more than half of Americans favor an inquiry into the use of harsh interrogation tactics on terror suspects, a Gallup Poll indicated Tuesday. MIAMI -- Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez has been named a trustee at the University of Miami, the school announced Tuesday. Gutierrez, who served in the George W.
