KIEV, Russia -- Ukraine says Russia must stand by its agreement to withdraw its naval facilities from the Crimean Peninsula by 2007. Russia is leasing the Black Sea Fleet's main base in Sevastopol from Ukraine under a 1997 agreement. LJUBLJANA, Slovenia -- A Muslim community in Slovenia is planning to build the country's first mosque and an Islamic cultural center in Ljubljana. BUCHAREST, Romania -- Romania's president, after surviving an impeachment referendum, is demanding the government's resignation and early elections. SKOPJE, Macedonia -- Macedonia's primary opposition ethnic-Albanian party has ended a boycott of parliament to help pass major laws needed for integration into the European Union.
