SALT LAKE CITY - A member of an Aryan prison gang who killed a guard and escaped from a Salt Lake City hospital is now awaiting trial on a murder charge. FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - Investigators in Georgia said Tuesday pro wrestler Chris Benoit -- the Canadian Crippler -- killed his wife and 7-year-old son before hanging himself. Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office said the bodies were discovered Monday afternoon at the family's house in Fayetteville, The New York Times reported. ORLANDO, Fla. - A Florida couple faces charges after they allegedly left their toddler in the hot sun for nearly an hour while they were on a ride at Walt Disney World. Juan Carlos and Danette Rodriguez were released on bail Sunday after their 3-year-old daughter was found unconscious in her stroller parked outside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. DETROIT - A Michigan man has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for trafficking in Eastern European women forced to work as strippers. Aleksandr Maksimenko pleaded guilty last year to conspiracy to commit money laundering, involuntary servitude and immigration offenses. In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Judge Victoria Roberts ordered Maksimenko to repay $1.5 million to 12 women, the Detroit News reported. FRESNO, Calif. - The mayor of Fresno, Calif., quit the United States Conference of Mayors after the group voted to urge Congress to pull U.S. troops out of Iraq.
