BAYTOWN, Texas - A Texas woman trying to keep her car died when dragged by the tow truck her ex-husband sent to get the vehicle. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Winds whipped a California wildfire past a fire break Tuesday, sending residents of one hamlet fleeing and hurting firefighters' efforts to contain the blaze. WASHINGTON - A federal judge who approved wiretaps for terrorism suspects defended the judicial review of applications for such eavesdropping. U.S. District Judge Royce C. BOSTON - A Boston woman admitted Tuesday she lied about her son being shot by intruders, admitting the 8-year-old boy was killed by his cousin. The Oregon Air National Guard announced that an F-15 jet fighter has crashed about 35 miles off the Oregon Coast this afternoon.
