A Bend man was arraigned Wednesday, July 19 for stabbing a woman in the abdomen at the First Lutheran Church in downtown Bend. Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers today detailed his ongoing efforts to detect and deter unlawful gasoline marketing practices. A body was found Sunday afternoon when the Sheriff’s Office, LaPine Fire Department, and USFS fire crews went to investigate a report of smoke west of Dawn Road  and the Deschutes National Forest boundary.
