DETROIT - Police in Detroit are looking for a woman who is believed to have shot a pedestrian while she was arguing with a motorist who bumped her car.
Nicole Andretta Ecckles, 35, of Detroit is named in an arrest warrant with one count of first-degree murder, The Detroit News reported. WASHINGTON - The U.S. government reported a steep decline in the number of methamphetamine labs found in the United States last year.
The drop is being attributed to state and federal laws that restrict the sale of cold medicines and chemicals used to make the highly addictive stimulant, USA Today reported Monday.

An Idaho man was cited for following too closely in a three-vehicle crash that blocked Highway 97 for over an hour Saturday afternoon, deputies reported.

ROCKFORD, Ill. - An Illinois woman born with underdeveloped hands and arms has filed a lawsuit over the treatment she received at a McDonald's restaurant in Rockford, Ill.

ATLANTA - A text message from a cell phone sparked an investigation that helped Atlanta police free two kidnapped attorneys.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Wet weather has helped crews battling some Alaska wildfires but there was not enough rain to keep fire from edging into the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
