DENVER -- A man in custody in Denver may be linked to the slaying of Broncos football player Darrent Williams and other unsolved crimes, it was reported Saturday. A federal court complaint alleges William DeWayne Clark, 25, belongs to a gang known as the "Elite Eight," the Rocky Mountain News reported. BAGHDAD, Iraq -- At least 40 explosions damaged Baghdad's fortified Green Zone Tuesday in the worst attack since April 2004, it was reported. DURHAM, N.H. -- A new U.S. study revealed that 4 percent of children who go online are asked to transmit sexually explicit photos of themselves, USA Today reported Friday. MANILA, Philippines -- Fourteen Filipino soldiers reportedly were killed, some of them beheaded, in the Philippines' south where Islamic separatists are active. The Guardian reported the soldiers, who had gone in search of a kidnapped Italian priest, were killed Tuesday in clashes with rebels. BUCHAREST, Romania -- Eighteen people have died across Romania as temperatures as high as 108 degrees Fahrenheit swept the Balkan country, media said Monday. RED WING, Minn. -- Police have determined two of three dead babies found in the same stretch of the Mississippi River in Minnesota in the past eight years had the same mother. BEIJING -- A blast tore through a karaoke bar in a town in northeast China, killing at least 25 people and injuring 33 more, it was reported Thursday.
