MARIETTA, Ga. -- A young Georgia woman admitted Wednesday that she was one of the “Barbie Bandits” who robbed a bank of almost $11,000.Heather Lyn Johnston, 19, pleaded guilty to theft by taking and to a misdemeanor charge of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. MINNEAPOLIS -- Minneapolis police Thursday lowered the death toll in the Interstate 35W bridge collapse to four people confirmed dead, down from seven reported earlier. The recovery effort began Thursday as crews searched wreckage and rubble left from the structure's falling into the Mississippi River and its banks during evening rush hour Wednesday. BAGHDAD -- Thirteen people were killed by a car bomb near a police station in Habhab, Iraq, Thursday as Coalition forces announced the deaths of two U.S. soldiers. BEIJING -- In another coal mine accident in China, a mine shaft at a state-owned facility in east Jiangxi Province was flooded Thursday, trapping 14 miners. The official Xinhua reported 15 miners were working underground at the Zhayi colliery near Fengcheng city when the flooding occurred.
