Juniper Golf Club of Redmond was selected to be the site of the 2007 Oregon Open Invitational, according to a news release by the Pacific Northwest Section PGA of America. The event is scheduled for June 22 through June 28.
The overall winner of the Dirty Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) was Max King at 1 hour, 14 minutes and 22 seconds. The fastest women’s time was 1:28:49 by Pam Bradbury of Bend.
Paul Parsons of Bend came in 1st of the 10k River Trail Ramble with a time of 37 minutes, 50 seconds. Womens’ division winner was Nikki Lewis of Redmond at 45:00. In the 5k race, winners were Justin Freyermuth (18:33) and MacKenzie Allen (21:50).

81 year old Jack Cleveland of Bend took 1st place at the Portland Masters Classic and USA Track and Field Oregon Association Championships held at Mt. Hood Community College with a pole vault of 7 feet 2 ¼ inches.
