Tickets for the Fifth Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser are now available for purchase in various locations in Bend and Redmond. Individuals are encouraged to buy tickets prior to the event since in past years they sold out in advance.
Empty Bowls is a nationally-recognized event that brings awareness of those who are less fortunate in our community. NeighborImpact hosts the event each autumn as the kick-off to National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Live music and community creates a festive atmosphere.
The event will be held on November 12th at the Bend Golf and Country Club. Tickets are $16 each and attendants receive an exquisite, hand-thrown artisan potters’ bowl of the attendant’s choice, gourmet soup and entrance into a raffle for high-end items donated by local merchants. Attendants may attend the event at 11:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m., or 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are available either online at http://www.neighborimpact.org, by check or credit card at the NeighborImpact office, or by bringing a cash or check in person to The Curiosity Shoppe or Artscape.
Tickets may be purchased at the following Bend locations:
The Curiosity Shoppe (541-382-3408), 550 SW Industrial Way # 45; Artscape (541-330-6534), 61021 S. Highway 97; and NeighborImpact Offices, 2303 SW First Street.
