Alcohol was not a factor and no citations were issued in a single-vehicle rollover crash on O’Neil Highway in Crook County on Wednesday afternoon that sent the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries, deputies reported.

Crook County Sheriff’s deputy Sgt. Jim Chapman said Richard Burdick, 20, of Prineville, was traveling east about 5:15 p.m. on November 21 when he lost control of his 1992 Acura on a curve, veered onto gravel, and rolled the car at least twice before it came to rest upside down in a field.

Burdick was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville with unknown injuries, Chapman said.
