(BEND, Ore.) – The seventh annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon exceeded its goal and raised $40,465 and 392,454 frequent flier miles that will help grant six wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions in Central Oregon.
The Make-A-Wish Radiothon aired on 105.7 KQAK-FM, THE PEAK 104.1 and LITE 95.1, and featured Horizon Broadcasting Group (HBG) air-personalities Dave Clemens, Bryon Mengle, Dan Dubay, Jack Friday, Roy Lamela and John Tesh. The Radiothon originated from the Cascade Village Shopping Center in Bend on November 29 and 30, 2007.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. This year's drive exceeded its 2007 goal of $40,000 and surpassed the approximately $35,000 raised last year, said Keith Shipman, President & CEO of HBG.
