A 58-year old Sisters man was arrested Friday after a multi-agency investigation obtained information that he wanted to murder a Bend police officer, said authorities.
Detectives from the Bend Police Department, Deschutes County Sheriff’s office, and the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Agency all worked on what was described by Sgt. Paul Kansky as an “intensive investigation”. Evidence of the crime was seized during the investigation and arrest, said Kansky in a news release issued by the Bend Police Department. Burdick was lodged at the Deschutes County Jail, and bail was set at $1 million by Deschutes County Circuit Judge Haslinger in a Monday court appearance. A November 6 date was scheduled for the next court proceedings. |
