For the past several months, the City of Redmond has been conducting a due diligence analysis necessary to support a city center RFQ / RFP project (Request for Qualifications / Request for Proposal).
After conducting the analysis, the city has elected to move forward with building a new City Hall and City Center Park in time to celebrate Redmond’s Centennial in 2010.
In so doing, the city will be able to ensure a successful downtown redevelopment project for the City of Redmond. Instead of issuing a RFQ / RFP to develop a public / private partnership with selected developers, the city will work with its architect to generate several City Hall / Park design options for the public to consider in early 2008 and prepare a request for construction bids later in 2008. |
