Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man alleged to have assaulted a woman as she slept in her apartment early Saturday morning. The victim’s seven-year-old son was in her bedroom, and her nine-year-old daughter was in an adjoining bedroom during the assault.

BPD released a drawing of the suspect.
Beaverton Police responded to 6160 SW Alice Lane shortly before 6 a.m., December 15 and contacted the 46-year old female victim. According to a news release, the woman was asleep in her bed when the suspect began beating her in the face. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment of facial injuries, police reported.

The suspect is described as a male of either Asian or Hispanic descent with a small nose and pock-marked skin. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with spikes, fleeing the apartment.

A police dog followed a track leading south from the apartment, but a search of the area was unsuccessful.

Officers believe the suspect entered the apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door, the release stated.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 503-629-0111.
