Matt Roloff DUII trial date set

The long-anticipated court date for the trial of ‘Little People, Big World’ star, Matt Roloff has been scheduled for January 8.

According to a Washington County Circuit Court clerk, Roloff’s drunk-driving case will be presided over by Judge Donald R. Letourneau.

Roloff, 45, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants on June 19 when his Chevrolet van was observed by a deputy “failing to drive within its travel lane” on NW West Union Road near NW Cornelius Pass Road in an unincorporated area of Washington County, Oregon about midnight, the sheriff’s office reported in a news release.

Roloff allegedly failed the field sobriety test and was arrested for DUII. He was transported to the Washington County Jail where, according to deputies, he refused to take the breath test. Roloff was cited and released for DUII, refusing the breath test, and failure to drive within the lane.

Roloff and his family, wife Amy, daughter Molly, twin sons Zach and Jeremy, and youngest child Jacob, are featured on The Learning Channel’s television show that focuses on the family’s life on their 33-acre farm in Oregon. Pegged by TLC as an “extraordinary family composed of both little and average-sized people”, the Roloff’s share how Matt, Amy, and Zach live as Little People with dwarfism living in a world of normal-sized people.
