Officers were called to 20120 Pinebrook Blvd. about 4 p.m., December 23, to an initial report of an altercation involving a group of people armed with guns and baseball bats, Lt. Ken Stenkamp said.  As officers were enroute, however, all the persons involved drove away but were found a short time later in the immediate vicinity.

The investigation determined that no guns were involved and no one was injured, the lieutenant said, but the vehicle of the 17-year-old victim, Bend resident Britney Gould, was damaged when it was repeatedly hit with the bat and club.

Rick Ham, 20, of Bend; Devan Walker, 18, of Redmond; and Nicholas Davis, 18, of La Pine; were taken into custody and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail, the news release stated.  All were charged with first-degree criminal mischief.
