A 32-year old La Pine man was arrested Thursday morning and charged with half-a-dozen crimes in connection with the alleged stabbing of another man during a fight, deputies reported.
Based on evidence and witness testimony, deputies determined that Wade allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the other man in the forearm while they were engaged in a fight at a residence on Deedon Lane that Deschutes County Sheriff’s Lt. Erik Utter described as “mutual combat”.
Dale Wade, 32, was taken into custody and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail. He is charged with first- and fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, coercion and harassment.
The investigation is continuing, Utter said, adding that the two men knew each other prior to the incident.
