MELBOURNE - A Melbourne, Australia, teenager has been charged with producing child pornography after pictures of semi-naked girls were taken at a party he hosted.

Police said the 16-year-old, who was not named, is scheduled to appear Feb. 22 in children's court on charges related to the photos taken at his house party, the Sydney Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday.

The arrest followed several hours of interviews police conducted with the suspect and a second 16-year-old, who police said would be charged on summons.

The teenager, who was arrested Tuesday, also was charged with creating a public nuisance.
