Washington County Sheriff’s detectives are asking the public’s help in locating two men, considered armed and dangerous, who allegedly brutally beat an acquaintance at a New Year’s Eve party, kicking him in the head and face repeatedly with steel-toed boots causing life-threatening injuries.
Clifton Cory Burgess, 40, and Kenneth Ralph Sun, 45, are considered armed and dangerous and are apparently aware that they are wanted men. Arrest warrants for first- and third-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon have been issued.
Burgess is described as 5-foot 10-inches tall, with an approximate weight of 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair.
Sun also stands 5-foot 10-inches, weighs 175 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. He may be driving a black 2003 Chevrolet Suburban with Oregon Crater Lake license plate CL23862, deputies said.
Anyone who may see either suspect is asked to call 911 and are warned not to attempt to apprehend them. Persons with information about the assault or who have information that may lead detectives to the suspects’ location are asked to call 503-846-2500. |
