Three Baker City residents jailed on drug, weapons charges

Three Baker City residents were arrested Monday when police executed raided their home and seized drugs, a firearm, and cash1/2 ounce of crystal methamphetamine, a handgun, about $2,500 cash and a small amount of marijuana, Oregon State Police (OSP) reported.

Detectives and troopers served a search warrant at 1735 Cherry Street in Baker City on January 28. According to a news release, OSP was assisted by Baker City Police, a police dog, and Baker County Parole and Probation.

During the search, detectives discovered and seized about ½ ounce of crystal meth, a handgun, about $2,500 in cash, and a small amount of marijuana, troopers said.

Three people residing at the Cherry Street residence were taken into custody and lodged in the Baker County Jail. 

Michael L. Knee, 48, Debbie Jo Franklin, 44, and William Donald Hansen, 53, were all charged with possession and delivery of meth. Knee was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, and Hansen for violation of probation, OSP reported.
