Bend Location is second Oregon specialty gourmet store featuring everything for the home chef

BEND, Ore. – Allyson’s Kitchen, formerly Allyson’s of Ashland, will open its second Oregon location at the Old Mill District in Bend. The new store will host a variety of food and wine tastings and cooking demonstrations during its grand opening Feb. 15-17.
Allyson’s Kitchen is a gourmet paradise with an extensive selection of kitchen tools, pots and pans, cutlery, and kitchen electrics.  The store also features a wine shop, specialty food department, gourmet deli, and a year-round cooking school designed for home chefs.  The kitchenware department includes high-quality culinary tools, with brands that include All-Clad, KitchenAid, Cuisinart, LeCreuset, Wusthoff-Trident, Global Knives, NordicWare and more.  Allyson’s wine shop offers great wines at every price level, with an extensive selection of highly rated wines under $15.  The specialty foods department is stocked with exotic spices, olive oils, vinegars, salts, peppercorns, cookies, crackers, chocolate and more.
The deli offers a full menu of unique sandwiches, made-from-scratch soups, and delicious salads, sliced-to-order artisan cheeses and specialty meats, along with tasty antipasti selections. Both the Ashland location and Bend’s Old Mill District location offer gourmet-to-go items in refrigerated and freezer cases.  The gourmet-to-go menu includes a delicious assortment of meals that can be baked at home, including Green Chile and Tomatillo Chicken Enchiladas, Traditional Lasagna, Vegetarian Lasagna Roll-ups and Chicken Pot Pie with Flaky crust.
Grand opening festivities at the Old Mill District will include a complimentary wine tasting Friday Feb.15 from 6-8 p.m. and cooking demonstrations from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 16 and Sunday Feb. 17.  Customers can also sample aged balsamic vinegars from Modena, olive oils from around the world, and artisan cheeses and specialty meats from Italy, France, New Zealand and the United States.
