Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a masked robber who held up a Taco Time fast food restaurant in southwest Redmond, Oregon at gunpoint Thursday night.

The suspect, described as an Hispanic male about 5-foot 2-inches to 5-foot 4-inches tall with a slim build and brown eyes, was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, work-style denim pants and black cotton gloves when he entered the restaurant at 1029 SW Highland Avenue about 8:10 p.m., Redmond Police Sgt. The suspect brandished a handgun and gave the cashier a backpack, demanding that it be filled with money, the sergeant reported.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction, Chase said.

No injuries were reported.

Sgt. Chase asks anyone with information to contact police at 541.504.3400 or 541.693.6911.
