Police arrested an 18-year-old McKay High School student for leaving a note threatening to detonate a bomb in a Salem, Oregon high school.
The note was found written on a wall of a bathroom and was immediately reported to staff, who notified the school resource officer. The school resource officer began an investigation, and after contacting several students, arrested the suspect without further incident at the school on Thursday. ”At this time it appears as though the threat was not a viable one and no explosive devices were found,” police said. Gray was arrested for first-degree disorderly conduct and was transported to the Marion County Corrections Facility.
