Bend Police detectives stopped Justin Gregory Greenslitt near Reed Market Road and American Lane on November 28, said Sgt. Paul Kansky.  Greenslitt had been sought for weeks in connection with the earlier crimes, was arrested without incident, and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail.

Police had earlier arrested Justin Lee Newman, 17, and Joshua Sterling, 16 in connection with the crime spree.  Bend Police worked with information received by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, and the agencies conducted a joint investigation which identified Ashley and Newman as suspects.

Greenslit will face charges of first-degree arson, two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and nine counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, said the sergeant.
