A tip from a citizen who recognized two “persons of interest” captured in a video recorded in a Prineville Laundromat on February 3 led to their identification and the arrest of one woman for theft, police announced.
Durbin, who resides at 1264 NW Markuson Drive, was shown accompanied by a male in the video. The juvenile male was also identified, Chief Eric Bush said, but was not charged with a crime.
Durbin allegedly took about $400 worth of laundered items from the Sunshine Laundry at 389 NW 4th Street between noon and 3 p.m., February 3. She was arrested Saturday about midnight and was lodged in the Crook County Jail. Durbin was charged with second-degree theft, but has since been conditionally released from jail, Bush said.
