According to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVFR), Beaverton Police officers were dispatched to the scene just west of the NW Bethany Blvd. on-ramp about 3:45 p.m., February 12.

While the identities of the injured persons were not disclosed, TVFR said that the adult male driver of one vehicle was quickly removed from the wreckage and transported by LifeFlight to Oregon Health Science University trauma center.

Firefighters had to remove a portion of the second car in order to extricate the other injured driver, an adult female. She was transported by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Hospital, TVFR said.

Beaverton Police will be conducting an investigation into the crash.
