OREGON CITY, Ore. -- A Clackamas county, Ore., fifth- and sixth-grade girls basketball game ended in the arrest of one coach after he refused to leave the game when he was ejected.
But the coach, Jeffery Scott Larsen, allegedly refused to leave and accosted Webb after the game.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigated the incident and eventually arrested Larsen, 34, and cited him with criminal trespassing in the gym after the referee had tossed him out of the game. State law says it's a Class C misdemeanor if an ejected coach refuses to leave the scene of a sports event.
"The biggest disappointment is that a good basketball game got overshadowed by bad adult behavior, and that the kids had to see that," said Kevin Olds, the Estacada coach.
