The sixth annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon exceeded its goal and raised $35,645 and 266,414 frequent flier miles that will help grant 8 wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions in Central Oregon. The Make-A-Wish Radiothon aired on 105.7 KQAK-FM, THE PEAK 104.1 and LITE 95.1.
“We are so thankful to all who contributed to the Make-A-Wish Radiothon this year,” said Andrew Asato, Executive Director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon. “Central Oregon is so supportive of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the money that was raised and the frequent flier miles that were pledged will make a tremendous impact in this community – 8 young people will be able to experience the power of a wish!” The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
