DUNDEE, Scotland - The Internet helped a French mother track her children to Dundee, Scotland, more than two years after their father absconded with them.

The woman found her daughter's picture on the blog of a Dundee teenager, The Scotsman reported. A judge ordered the return of the three youngest children to France after a hearing Tuesday.

Two of the children, a girl, 14, and boy, 11, told the court they want to stay in Scotland. The father, who faces extradition to France, argued the children have a settled home in Scotland.

The couple lived in England after their 1989 marriage and also in South America, Mexico, the United States, England again and Spain, where they separated in 2001. The wife, a French national, returned to her native country with the children.

The oldest child, now 17, is not subject to the court order.

The father was convicted in absentia in France of abducting the children. He reportedly took them to Asia before settling in Dundee.
