Reward offered in attempted vehicle arson

SISTERS, Ore. -- A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest and charges filed against the person or persons responsible for the attempted arson of a vehicle parked near an apartment complex in Sisters, Oregon, early Wednesday morning.Deschutes County Sheriff's Lt. Kevin Dizney said the owner of the vehicle parked his black Nissan X-Terra sports utility vehicle (SUV) in a lot nearby the Adams Roost Apartments at 173 East Adams Street, and reported the failed arson attempt at 4:30 a.m., March 12. Sheriff’s deputies and detectives are actively investigating the incident, and ask anyone with information to call the Detective Division at 541.617.3393 or 1-800-3-DETECT. All callers may remain anonymous, Dizney added. |
