Bend City Manager finalists selected

BEND, Ore. -- The Bend City Council released Thursday the names of four candidates who were selected from more than 70 who vied for the position of Bend City Manager. A nationwide search to fill the position was conducted by The Waters Consulting Group, and one of the four chosen is Eric King who is currently serving as Bend’s Interim City Manager.
The four finalists will be involved in selection activities to be held May 19 and 20. The community is invited to a public forum at the Tower Theatre on Monday May 19, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The finalists are: Sam Kim Present Position – Director, World Wide Product Generation, Hewlett-Packard Company, Vancouver, WA Educational Background
Eric King
Present Position – Interim City Manager, City of Bend, Oregon Educational Background –
Christopher Morrill Present Position - Assistant City Manager, City of Savannah, Georgia Educational Background –
Kent Myers Present Position – City Manager, City of Hot Springs, Arkansas Educational Background –
