LUTZ, Fla. -- Florida authorities say more than one weapon was used to kill a Hillsborough County woman and her two young children.

The bodies of Lisa Freiberg, 26, and her children Zachary, 7, and Heather Savannah, 2, along with the family dog were found in their locked mobile home in Lutz, Fla., by Freiberg's mother, The St. Petersburg Times reported Wednesday.

Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said one of the victims had been decapitated.

No one has been charged in the case but Freiberg's live-in boyfriend was discovered under a pile of clothing in a closet of the mobile home.

Edward Covington, 35, told authorities he had ingested something and was taken to University Community Hospital where he remains under guard, the sheriff said.

Gee said authorities have determined that more than one weapon was used in the triple slaying.
