Hillsboro man gets 6 years in sex abuse case

HILLSBORO, Ore. – A 28-year old Hillsboro man was expected to be sentenced to 69 months in prison after he pleaded guilty in Washington County Court to giving ecstasy to two teenagers and sexually abusing one of the girls, police reported.

According to a Hillsboro Police news release, Brandon Michael Sullivan dissolved ecstasy pills in soft drinks and gave the beverages to 14- and 15-year-old girls at his home in December 2007. Police said he then sexually assaulted the younger girl before the victims fled Sullivan’s residence.

Sullivan pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor, and a single count of second-degree sexual abuse via unlawful sexual penetration, the news release stated.
