CALGARY, Alberta -- The Canadian man who killed his wife, two of their daughters and a tenant in Calgary last week before killing himself will be buried with the family.
Sheila Fisher, the mother of Joshua Lall's slain wife, Alison, told the Calgary Herald funeral arrangements have yet to be finalized, but ultimately they would all be together in Ontario.
Lall, 34, killed his 35-year-old wife, two of their daughters, 5-year-old Kristen and 3-year-old Rochelle, and a 30-year-old female tenant in the house last Tuesday, police said. A 1-year-old daughter was found unharmed, and was placed in the care of undisclosed extended family, the Herald said.
Meanwhile, about 100 grief-stricken people attended a community grief counseling meeting Monday night organized by the Calgary police Victim Assistance Unit and members of the Calgary Health Region's mobile response team, the Calgary Sun said.
"Because it is such a tragic situation and any time when you have children involved I think people look within and internalize that and are looking for answers -- unfortunately in this situation, there aren't a lot of answers so people will reach out to find those answers any way they can," Sgt. Kyle Grant said.
