HILLSBORO, Ore. – Detectives are asking the public’s help to keep watchful for a 55-year old man with Schizophrenia who went missing in the Hillsboro area Wednesday afternoon.
Donald Errend regularly takes medication for his diagnosed mental disease, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office news release stated. Errand was supposed to return to a group home in Aloha by bus about 2:30 p.m. after shopping at a Fred Meyer store at S.W. Tualatin Valley Highway and SE Century Boulevard in Hillsboro. Tri-Met representatives said Errend never got on the bus, detectives said. The missing man is described as 6-feet in height with a weight of about 200 pounds. He always wears glasses and was wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans, white t-shirt and perhaps a khaki-colored coat. Anyone who may have seen Errend is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 503.629.0111.
