PITTSBURGH - The 11-year-old Pennsylvania boy charged with shooting his father's pregnant fiancee as she slept reportedly had threatened her previously.

Relatives of Kenzie Marie Houk said her boyfriend's son, Jordan Brown, once threatened to "pop Kenzie in the head," the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday.

Houk's brother-in-law, Jason Kraner, said no one believed the boy, who reportedly was jealous of Houk and her soon-to-be born child, was capable of carrying out his threat.

"Everyone loved him like he was their son," Kraner said. "We gave him nothing but love."

Jordan is charged with killing Houk and her unborn child Friday with his youth-model 20-gauge shotgun.

"He looked at (Houk) like she was a problem, like here is someone about to take my father away from me and have a baby boy," Jennifer Kraner, Houk's sister, was quoted by the newspaper as saying.

Authorities have charged Jordan with two counts of homicide, including the murder of an unborn child.

Houk was nine-months pregnant at the time of her death. She had two daughters, Jenessa, 7, and Adalynn, 4. The younger girl discovered their mother's body.
