SALEM, Ore. – Deputies are seeking a masked suspect who held up at gunpoint a Salem strip club early this morning.

According to a news release issued by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, employees said a male suspect entered the family-owned Firehouse Cabaret located at 5782 Portland Road NE about 2 a.m., brandished a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect was described as possibly a white male, 5-foot 10-inches and 145 pounds, with blue eyes and a round face. He was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and had a blue bandana over his face.

The weapon was described as possibly a semi-automatic handgun, .45 caliber and chrome or stainless steel with a long barrel.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies reported. Traveling on foot, deputies assisted by Salem Police officers and a police dog tracked the suspect to a driveway at 4350 Labish Garden Road. It appeared the suspect may have had a vehicle at that location and left the area, the news release stated.

Anyone with information about this case or the suspect is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 503.588.5032.
