BEND CITY POLICE BLOTTER

  • A woman was arrested after her two-year-old child was found wandering near her residence unsupervised.  Suspect was found sleeping on her couch and was in possession of methamphetamine. 5/19/06

  • Four teenage boys were found to be in possession and use of firecrackers in a residential area near Madison & Hollowtree.  5/19/06

  • A Bend man was arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants.  He was leaving K.O.’s south when stopped, and during his arrest interview his response to the question “Where are you now?” was “Trouble.”  5/19/06

  • A Redmond woman and a Bend man were arrested after being found to be in possession of a 1989 Cadillac listed stolen.  5/20/06

  • A man reported that two teenage females stole his daughter’s bicycle which she was playing at Bear Creek Elementary School.  5/20/06

  • Officers responded to an alarm at The Gap in the Old Mill District.  Two windows were found to have been broken by a rock.  5/21/06

  • A man reported the theft of various tools valued at $1,800 from his parking garage on NE Linnea Drive.  5/21/06

  • A Bend man was arrested, cited, and released for prohibited taking of wildlife after he was found to be in possession of two goslings in Drake Park.  The man planned to take the baby geese home and raise them. 5/21/06

  • A man admitted to shoplifting approximately $110 worth of clothing items from Sears, was cited & released. 5/21/06
