SAO PAULO -- Brazilian judicial officials ordered the arrest of an Amazon rancher who had been acquitted of killing an American nun.

The highest court in the northern Brazilian state of Para said it reversed a 2008 acquittal of Vitalmiro Moura, who was accused of ordering the killing of Dorthy Stang, O Globo reported Wednesday.

The court said that a video that was used by Moura's defense wasn't admissible.

Stang, 73, was killed in 2005. She had spent three decades working in the Amazon fighting for the rights of laborers and conversation of the rain forest.

Brazilian prosecutors accused Moura of having Stang killed as part of a property dispute, O Globo said.
