County seeks video news magazine production proposals

Deschutes County is requesting proposals for the monthly production of a video news magazine. Firms and individuals submitting proposals will be screened and may be selected from the written proposals.  The selection committee may conduct interviews with the most qualified candidates, who will need to be prepared to make oral and visual presentations to the selection committee.  Selection committee members shall not be contacted nor solicited by any firm or individual submitting proposals.  Any such contact shall be grounds for disqualification.

Deschutes County seeks to contract with a firm or individual to produce a monthly video news magazine designed to inform Deschutes County residents of County services. The length of each program is normally 30 minutes.  The term of this contract will be five years.

The selected contractor must be able to provide the following services:

1. Pre-production coordination with Deschutes County news magazine liaison.
2. Production of monthly news magazine segments.
3. Provision of final monthly production to broadcast agent.
4. Provision of copies of individual segments as needed.

The production of the news magazine will take place at locations throughout the County.  The product will be delivered to the Deschutes County Public Communications Coordinator or to the designated broadcast agent.
