‘Person of interest’ sought in Prineville stabbing

Prineville Police are looking for a “person of interest” in connection with the stabbing of a 24-year old man in northwest Prineville early Tuesday morning, and another man is in custody after being subdued with a Taser following a foot chase from the scene.

Robertson was lodged in the Crook County Jail on $10,000 bail, and faces charges of third-degree escape and attempted possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
The stabbing victim, Cody Ray Flowers, 24, also of Prineville, received what officers described as a “non life-threatening stab wound to the chest” and was transported by ambulance to Pioneer Memorial Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. Chief Bush said that they have identified 27-year old Lance Bechtel of Prineville as a “person of interest” who is wanted for questioning in the stabbing. Bechtel was described as 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
