Deschutes County deputies have arrested one man, and are asking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect wanted in connection with an assault and the theft of several marijuana plants from a Deschutes River Woods residence southwest of Bend.
On January 26, deputies were called to 19308 Kiowa Road in response to a reported robbery, assault, and burglary, Sgt. Mike Espinoza said. Deputies learned Robert Anthony Digiacomo, 30, had been robbed, and “numerous” marijuana plants were stolen.
Deputies identified two men, Kelly Anthony Steven, 44, and Zeke Allen Rockwell, 30, as suspects in the incident. Kelly was later apprehended during a traffic stop, allegedly in possession of a large quantity of marijuana, Sgt. Espinoza said. He is being held without bail in the Deschutes County Jail on charges including fourth-degree assault, first-degree burglary, criminal mischief, robbery, and violation of probation.

A joint investigation by the sheriff’s office and Bend Police led to execution of a search warrant at 9 SW 15th Street in Bend on Tuesday.
Rockwell was then tied to the assault and robbery, the sergeant said, but he hasn’t been located.
Sheriff’s deputies and the street crimes unit are seeking information on the whereabouts of Rockwell, who is known to have associates in Bend, The Dalles, and Washington state. His last known address is the 15th Street residence, said the sergeant. Rockwell is described as a white male, 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, with brown hair – worn short or shaved.
Sgt. Espinoza says that anyone with information about Rockwell should page him at 693-6506, or contact either the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division at 322-4808 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 3 Detect. Information leading to the arrest and filing of charges against Rockwell can pay up to $1000 cash reward, he added.
